Birdeye, a crypto trading data aggregator onchain, has extended its services to the Sui blockchain. It now provides real-time crypto market information APIs and WebSockets, for DeFi applications. According to The Sui Blog, this integration began in April 2024 and aims to improve data accessibility for traders and developers using the Sui blockchain.
Birdeye provides a variety of APIs and web sockets to allow users integrate detailed cryptomarket data into their project. The Price API, OHCLV API (real-time candles chart), Token API and Trades API are the key APIs. These APIs provide data such as historical prices, trading activity and token prices. They are vital for building robust DeFi apps.
The Price API has three endpoints - individual token price; multiple token price; and price history. These endpoints enable users to retrieve historical and current price data for tokens on different blockchain networks including Sui.
The OHCLV API provides real-time data on Open, High Low, Close and Volume for tokens and trading pair. This API is essential for visualizing price trends and technical analysis, which aids in market analysis and trading.
Birdeye's Tokens APIs provide endpoints to retrieve a list and detailed information on tokens. These APIs give users insights into the market capitalization, trading volumes, and price fluctuations, allowing them to make informed decisions.
Trades API is a tool that provides information on specific tokens and trading pairs. This data is essential for understanding market dynamics and tracking trading patterns.
Birdeye's WebSockets provide real-time updates about token prices and trading activity. WebSockets allow users to subscribe to multiple trading pairs or tokens, so they can stay up-to-date with market changes.
Birdeye's dashboard provides a single interface to manage API keys, billing, and subscriptions. This integrated hub simplifies data service management, ensuring that enterprise partners can operate efficiently and smoothly.
Birdeye Data Services integrates with the Sui Blockchain to support growth and innovation within the Sui Ecosystem. The availability of comprehensive, real-time data on crypto trading empowers developers to build advanced DeFi apps and attract a larger user base to Sui.
